Dustin S. Miller, PT, MSPT

Dustin S. Miller

Hi, I'm Dustin Miller, co-founder/CEO of Experience Physical Therapy. I spend my days working first and foremost with people, listening to them, helping them, finding solutions for them, and bringing goodness to them. I have worked for 14+ years serving the people around the Sun Lakes region working as their Physical Therapist and developed a skill to work with teenagers, young adults, the hard-working adults, and the self-proclaimed "every day is a holiday" retirees. I believe in honest, hard work and was raised to do the best that I could in everything I did; and I believe in giving honest, hard work with my developed skills to those who come to me seeking help, relief, improvement and recovery.

I come from a family of 6 kids, raised by parents who gave me a ton of life experiences.

I was raised playing all sports, camping, hiking, rock climbing, water skiing, and snow skiing. Born in Arizona but grew up around the country. I now have 5 kids of my own (my poor wife claims she has 6, counting myself). I love family time, love the mountains, enjoy books that make me think and enjoy good movies (don't you dare spoil an ending for me!).

My education began with living two years in Guatemala learning that 1) I'm not the center of the Universe and 2) how to serve others. I then earned a Sports Medicine/Athletic Training degree from BYU, and a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from UNLV (I still don't know why I can't be called 'Master' if a Ph.D. gets to be called 'Doctor').

Come give me a visit and let's see what you and I can accomplish together!

Testimonials:

“I suffered from back and neck pain for years and had been damaged further from certain therapies. My first visit to see Dustin Miller, I felt there was hope. His methods took me through a slow and steady healing process that brought lasting results. I’m forever grateful for his abilities to truly listen and use his talents and bring me back to a pain-free and quality life.”

Deanna Q.

“I struggled with back pain for years. I went to multiple doctors and physical therapists seeking help but none of the treatments worked. I had pretty much resigned myself to the idea that I was going to have back pain for the rest of my life. I connected with Dustin Miller and he isolated the problem muscle and treated it with dry needling. He told me that it would feel better in two to three days. Sure enough, in two days my back felt completely better. It felt like a miracle that he could solve a problem I had struggled with for so many years so easily. I have since had Dustin treat me after shoulder surgery and I couldn't ask for someone better. He listens to what I say and plans his treatment accordingly. Anytime I speak with someone who needs physical therapy I can't encourage them enough to be treated by the best.....Dustin Miller!”

Dr Miller has been helping me with my back and neck for over a year and a half. Because of my profession as a Dentist I constantly have issues. Dr. Miller is compassionate and professional. He is great at what he does. He takes a conservative approach...which is important to me medically and financially. I would recommend seeing him for any of your physical therapy needs!

Blaine R. Brooks, PT, DPT

Blaine R. Brooks

I have been practicing Physical Therapy for 11 years in the San Tan Valley region. I am the co-founder/CEO of Experience Physical Therapy. The vision I have for Experience PT is to provide therapy that is centered on the patient and to maintain a continuity of care consistent with my personal values. I want to build relationships with my patients that allow me to understand them to better facilitate the care they need. My mission is to be accurate in the assessment of the injury and to develop a plan of care that focuses on a return to a higher quality of life. I have learned the art of integrating rehabilitation to address functional deficits. I have a passion for educating my patients and providing them with the tools they need to overcome their challenges and improve their lives. As your Physical therapist, I will work alongside you, and together, we will help small things bring the changes you need in a great way.

I developed a passion for service and hard work early in my life. I was born to parents who are blind and suffer from neuromuscular and genetic disorders. Although challenging, my life has been extremely blessed for these circumstances. I have been fortunate to know two sets of parents. I was raised by my Aunt and Uncle on a farm in a small ranching community in SW Wyoming. They taught me to treat others with respect and kindness and to never compromise my integrity. These experiences helped me develop a perspective of love and compassion for others while teaching me the value of achieving success through hard work. I further developed these skills when I served a 2-year mission for my Church. I came to realize how much I enjoyed helping others.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Wyoming. I then furthered my education with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota. Along the way, I met my beautiful wife Brenda, and we have 7 wonderful children. I enjoy spending time with my family. I am actively engaged in the outdoors such as hiking, cycling, and hunting. When occasion permits, a good fantasy novel will spark my interest.

“Blaine has been treating me for many years and has always been able to help me get back to my activities. He listens to me and always makes the best decisions for my treatment. I like the way he explains everything so thoroughly. He is simply the best.”

Tina B.

“Blaine is the best Dr. I have ever been to. I have never been to a Physical Therapist as knowledgeable, caring, respectful and loving as Dr. Brooks. I will always continue all of my Physical Therapy with Blaine. He has always had a fantastic staff that is just as caring and professional as he is. I highly recommend Blaine and will always refer my family and friends to him.”

Sam S.

“I am a person again. After I fell and fractured my hip, I didn’t think I would ever walk again. When I first came to Blaine, I was only able to lay on my back all day. The pain was excruciating. But now, I am walking again with very little pain. I have my life back. I can go anywhere I want. Blaine and his staff are professional and very friendly. He has my recommendation. Thank you.”

Jennie Flores, Office Manager

Jennie

Jennie is our Front Office Manager. She has been in the Physical Therapy Administrative field for over 10 years. Meeting and getting to know our patients and having the privilege of watching their progress from their first visit through their entire plan of care is some of her favorite parts about her job. Her love of organization, communication with our patients, and vast knowledge of insurance and authorizations, keep our front office running smoothly.

Jennie is married to Gabe, a retired Army veteran, and has two sons who are Active Duty in the Air Force. She enjoys taking long rides in her convertible Mustang (which she named Sally O’Malley) and has a passion for honoring and serving our Veterans through several different organizations. Fun fact: Jennie has lived in 8 different states and has considered each one an adventure but is glad to call Arizona her final home.
